Value of project: $1,170,000
Scope: Removal of precast shell and rebuilding with brick and block
Time frame: 2 months

Project Overview:
Suffering from years of weather related moisture problems, this three-story school had become an eyesore. Restore Masonry removed the failing precast exterior walls and replaced them with new brick and limestone facades. The interior was reconstructed using decorative Trenwyth concrete masonry units for an attractive and maintenance-free finish. To complete the work in only eight weeks, crews worked 10-hour days, six days a week. Over 139,000 utility brick units, 16,000 modular brick units and over 1,000 cast stone pieces were installed in this short time frame. The project was finished on schedule, ready to greet the students and teachers on their first day of school.
